2020: Famine and the Supernatural Multiplication of Resources
Consider the Ravens
This spring, my wife and I began seeing an unusual number of ravens around our household. We would emerge out of the garage to see a raven darting across our windshield, I’d sit down in my home to be startled by a raven immediately behind me, kraa’ing through the window, and so forth.
My wife was a bit shaken – it almost seemed occult in nature – and it wasn’t until I informed her that ravens are a biblical symbol for provision (1 Kings 17:6, Luke 12:24), that we stopped seeing them. Often, God will repeat Himself until we interpret what He is saying.
Dreams of Famine
Shortly thereafter, many Christians in my circle began dreaming of famine. Among these, my wife dreamed of poor children needing to share what little they had with the rich, my close friend dreamed of supermarkets and department stores being violently looted for food, and the Lord translated me to Hell where I observed a radical shift in the way we will eat.
While I have faith in God to provide, I considered Pharaoh’s dreams of famine and Joseph’s subsequent preparation (Genesis 41), and began researching greenhouses, hydroponics, dehydrated foods, and other self-sufficient solutions like raising quails.
Though there is biblical precedence for preparation ahead of impending famine, I considered the even greater number of scriptures speaking to supernatural provision during these times, such as Elijah and the widow (1 Kings 17:7-16).
One additional example is Luke 12:22-24 ESV, which reads, “And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!”
While I am not against making preparations in the natural or advising against it, I believe God is calling my household to trust in the Lord to divinely provide, instead preparing spiritually at the feet of Jesus—I verbally declared this.
Power to Provide
That night, In the early hours of Pentecost (05/31/20), the Lord gave me a revelatory dream as it pertains to supernatural provision in times of need.
I found myself in a combat-oriented “School of the Spirit” named “INNER POWER”, alongside other classmates. Two in particular stood out; their namesakes were: “BOLD AND BRAVE PEOPLE” and “HONEY OVER MILK”. They wore combat training garments with “IN VITRO” written on them. In vitro fertilization is intended to conceive children (and without defect.)
The Lord showed me that He is giving birth to bold and brave mature sons who will operate in the purest anointing (honey), shedding off the feebleness of spiritual immaturity (milk), training them to harness the power of the Holy Spirit to move in the powers of the age to come, in preparation of the age to come. There will be a great fertilization and multiplication of these mature sons.
On Your Knees
Holy Spirit instructed us to get on our hands and knees, crawling wall-to-wall, saying, “I want you to learn how to use your other arm, for many do not know how to use their other arm. This exercise is to teach you to have strength in your other arm, and that strength will carry you across the floor.”
The body of Christ – on a corporate and individual level – has disabled themselves through a lack of intimacy with the Lord – a lack of falling to their hands and knees before Him, pouring out their lives as a fragrant offering. Consequentially, they posses powerful members of their body that remain entirely unused.
Isaiah 40:10 AMPC reads, “Behold, the Lord God will come with might, and His arm will rule for Him. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.” This speaks to the manifestation of God’s power extending His Kingdom. We must dwell at the Lord’s feet to learn how to wield the power of Christ in us, that we would begin to rule as His arm with the dominion He has granted us as His Ekklesia (Psalm 8:6).
Change
After this class, I entered into a change room. Wicked people were present, openly discussing wicked plans, exchanging money for murder. I was approached by a group of young women fundraising for those in need, looking for change. In my palm I held an abundance of change, and gave them more than they asked for.
In these days of darkness where evils of all kinds parade in the open, there is a remnant looking for change. With a love for their neighbour, they labour for change, and it will be given to them. An abundance of change, even greater than what we have seen with COVID-19 quarantines and riots of domestic terrorism, is coming.
Pure in Heart
Suddenly, I found myself in an outer courtyard, and a woman named “PURE” stood before me. I was given a ten-dollar bill, proceeded to rub it, and it became two fives. I handed one to her, informing her it would multiply on-demand, charging her to to do so exclusively for those in need.
In this time of financial collapse and impending famine, the Lord is imparting the power to multiply resources to those who are pure in heart (Psalm 24:3-4), not for selfish gain, but to provide for their neighbour.
A New Birthing
I left the courtyard and began waking towards a mall named “ONCE UPON A CHILD”, where I observed a line of dozens of people. The Lord made it known to me He was birthing something new. I was then shown pearls from Heaven would fall and ignite the hearts of those who seek Him, causing these to shed the baggage of spiritual immaturity, that they would be permitted to walk in the grace of multiplication.
Cash Day
In this mall, every store was closed and the lights were out, with the exception of one: “CASH DAY LOANS”. Dozens stood waiting to receive a handout that they would eventually be required, and unable to, pay back. I saw desperate people who needed someone to lean on and compassion stirred in my heart. The Lord instructed me to take the largest bill out of my wallet, and I began approaching every person in line, rubbing the single $20 bill in my hand that continually multiplied until all were provided for.
Not for Everyone
“Jesus loves you. Jesus’ bless you.”, I would say, over and over, until I heard a voice say, “This man is false.” A young man in line wearing a crucifix necklace stood opposite me and proceeded to take a $20 bill from my hand. I swiftly took it back – “It’s not for you, then.” Everyone in line received divine provision except for him.
20, 20
As I handed out the bills, one at a time – 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, I eventually handed out $25. 20, 25, 20, 25, 20, 25. It is possible the fives represent one of two things:
This economic crisis (and potential famine) will continue until 2025.
The fifth Hebrew letter is “hey”, with a numerical value of five. One of it’s meanings is “The beginning”.
Thus, at the very least, I believe we will see the beginnings of famine and the supernatural multiplication of provision this year: 2020.
Opportunity
Be encouraged! Those who abide in the Lord, pursuing purity, holiness, and intimacy with their Bridegroom will be provided for in these times of crisis, trained and equipped by the Holy Spirit to multiply that provision to those willing to receive, that they might know Him. While the immature and Pharisaic will not be partakers in this, incredible opportunities to share the love and message of Jesus Christ are available to all who will step out and seize them for His glory.
