School of the Spirit

Welcome to the School of the Spirit: free, online seer courses intended to help usher in the sons of God into maturity, fulfilling their heavenly destinies and assignments as they bring glory to the King of Kings while destroying the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Practical guidance and spiritual, scriptural exercises will be provided in written, video, and live-meeting format.

Regardless of gifting or anointing, consistent stewardship of these principles will move any faithful practitioner from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34) and your success is dependent on your stewardship (Matthew 25:14-30).

In recent years, “School of the Spirit” has been an increasingly common term, as the Lord is pouring out revelation on His Ekklesia in order to prepare us for the last days. We are in a preparatory season for the greater works (John 14:12), and it is imperative that we redeem this time, for the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16).

Acts 2:17-18 ESV – And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.

Translation Schools

In our first School of the Spirit, we’ll be looking at translation: supernatural travel across spacetime and realms for the Kingdom of God. This is the first of numerous volumes on translation, which will be shared as the Lord releases us to do so. These written guides will be accompanied by video teachings and Zoom calls where we discuss this in a group-setting alongside interactive Q&As.

TIP: To stay informed on Zoom calls, follow Live to Glorify on Facebook. To be notified of videos, subscribe to our YouTube and hit the bell icon.

This is an expansive, ever-evolving subject and these teachings are by no means exhaustive. The Lord is continually bringing us on new translations and with it, new lessons, increasing our revelation of heavenly travel. As this continues and as He permits, new volumes will be added, that we would collectively grow into supernatural transportation to release His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

Simultaneously, we will be hosting other Schools of the Spirit as it pertains to the seer realms, such as dream interpretation. These will act as launching pads into the seer realms and will support one another, thrusting us into the powers of the age to come through a process of sanctification and stewardship.

Vision for the Translation-School

Through a number of translations, dreams, and encounters, the Lord has shown me He is raising up mature sons who will translate in squadrons, wielding uncanny spiritual abilities to combat encroaching darkness. These are nameless, faceless individuals who, in secret, will shift the world in these coming last days through spiritual combat and judgements (Psalm 149:6-9) that will at times be plainly seen in the natural, making global headlines.

Many of us are not called to platforms—we’re called as nameless, faceless ones. Our preparation in the secret place and our pursuit of Christlike character are essential to being entrusted with these greater works. Many are called but few are chosen (Matthew 22:14). Mighty ones, please join us in prayer, that we would see the fulfillment of this for His glory.

Types of Supernatural Travel

In this school, we’ll be covering translation exclusively. As volumes progress, we may introduce translocation as the Lord leads us into it and so desires.

Translation: Traveling in the Spirit while the physical body remains unmoved. Also known as: ascension, rapture, out-of-body experience (OBE), spirit-travel, and “in the Spirit”. None, some, or all senses can be active or hyper-active. E.g. eagle-vision.

Translocation: The physical body has instantly relocated. Also known as: transrelocation, teleportation.

Lucid Dreaming: A dream where the dreamer has some sense of awareness and level of control. At times, it can seem indistinguishable from reality. Lucid dreaming is often mistaken for translation.

Tip_0002_Layer Comp 3.jpg

TIP: To discern whether your experience is a translation or lucid dream, have more of both. Really. As you begin, don’t concern yourself with labeling them; simply journal what happened and what you believe God was saying through it.

Astral Projection: Satan’s counterfeit of translation, popular in the new-age and occult. Satanists, witches, and other occult groups and religions use this to carry out the works of the devil, accompanied on their travels by demons, aware of it or not. It is a shadow of God’s design and is extremely limited when compared to translation. It is easy to attain, but it is spiritually illegal and practitioners risk not returning to their body, thus dying and being sent to hell.

Church of Satan founder Anton Lavey suddenly died when he astral projected in an attempt to murder prophet Bob Jones, as a Christian entered into the Spirit and cut his silver cord (Ecclesiastes 12:6), which is a cord of life that connects the spirit to the physical.

The occult highly values and utilizes astral projection, which speaks to how powerful translation is when sons of God wield it to destroy the works of the devil. This is a primary reason Satan has worked to keep the church fearful and asleep to translation, even in much of the charismatic church.

Spiritual Counterfeits

Satan does not create, he counterfeits. Much of the new age and occult have counterfeited spiritual principles and giftings which God intended for His people. Things like translation (Revelation 4:1-2), manipulation of time (Joshua 10:12-13), weather control (Mark 4:39), multiplication (Matthew 14:13-21), shapeshifting (John 21:1-13), and greater (John 14:12). As a result, fear has swept the church surrounding scriptural practices like stillness (Psalm 46:10), meditation (Isaiah 40:31), and translation.

Christians must not expose themselves to new age or occult teachings. While it may be believed that applying these principles and mechanics will accelerate the mystical (self-submission and oneness with God, per 1 Corinthians 6:17) and open the door to translation, it instead establishes agreements with demons, opens doors to the demonic, inflicts curses upon the practitioner, and if unrepented of can lead to eternal torment in hell.

This is an abomination before God that leads to destruction (Deuteronomy 18:9-12). Scripture is our single arbiter of truth and we must believe and obey it.

Tip_0010_Layer Comp 15.jpg

TIP: Studying and meditating upon scripture is an open door to moving in the things of the Spirit, including translation. Ask the Lord to bring you into a Bible story and imagine yourself there, engaging on every level. Imagination can act as a bridge to the supernatural.

Scriptures

When we look to the scriptures objectively – without presupposition – and allow scripture to interpret scripture rather than religion, tradition, or personal experiences and beliefs, we see that the practices discussed in these Schools of the Spirit are in complete alignment with the perfect instruction of God, helping to mature us into the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16). Beloved, let us examine the scriptures as the Bereans, having more faith in Holy Spirit to lead us (John 16:13) than Satan to deceive us.

Acts 17:11 NIV – Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

While there are numerous scriptures on translocation (1 Kings 18:10-12, 2 Kings 2:16, John 6:16-21, Acts 8:38-40), which is the physical relocation of the body, we will be reviewing the scriptures regarding translation: the relocation of the spirit.

Numerous prophets in the Bible found themselves in the Spirit, lifted up by the Spirit, brought somewhere by the Spirit, and so forth. They would then observe or engage in revelatory visions and encounters – Ezekiel was one such prophet.

Ezekiel 8:3 ESV – He put out the form of a hand and took me by a lock of my head, and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the gateway of the inner court that faces north, where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy.

Ezekiel 40:1-2 ESV - ...the hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me to the city. In visions of God he brought me to the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, on which was a structure like a city to the south.

Elijah and Elisha were also known to move in supernatural transportation by intention, both in translation and translocation (2 Kings 2:16). When Elijah instructed Obadiah to approach Ahab, Obadiah feared for his life as he knew Elijah walked in translocation (1 Kings 18:10-12).

2 Kings 5:26 AMPC – Elisha said to him, Did not my spirit go with you when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Was it a time to accept money, garments, olive orchards, vineyards, sheep, oxen, menservants, and maidservants?

2 Kings 6:12 ESV – And one of his servants said, “None, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”

We see this carry into the New Testament with the apostle Paul.

2 Corinthians 12:2-4 ESV – I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows—and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.

Colossians 2:5 ESV – For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.

Colossians 2:5 is often glossed over as a familiar phrase: “I am with you in spirit.” If we look at the original Greek, we quickly discover this is not simply decorative language. Paul uses the preposition σὺν (syn), pronounced “soon”, which means a literal, close presence with those in Colossae. The word for “see” is βλέπω (blepō), pronounced “blepo”, which means to see with the bodily eye.

Thus, this can be read as ”For though I am absent in body, yet I am literally present with you in spirit, rejoicing to see with my bodily eye your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.”

In what may be the most notable example of translation in the Bible: the book of Revelation, John is recorded as being invited into the Spirit by the Lord.

Revelation 4:1-2 ESV – After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne.

Types of Translation

Translation in the natural: Often related to personal ministry such as healing, deliverance, and the proclamation of the gospel. An example of this is a Canadian translating to Mexico to preach the gospel to a remote village. Those who are active in evangelism may find themselves having literal, realistic dreams of ministering to the lost and sharing the gospel with them. If you are faithful to do this during the day, it is not uncommon for God to extend that into the night.

As an evangelist, this is the first type of translation I recall having, and regularly. More recently, I found myself in a subway station in the Spirit. I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do and He said, “Preach the gospel.” For what felt like the next hour, I discussed the gospel with a family and a particularly resistant father. We exited the subway, waited at the bus stop, rode the bus, and got off together, carrying a typical conversation as I’d have when evangelizing in the natural.

Tip_0010_Layer Comp 16.jpg

TIP: If you minister during the day, offer your spirit up to the Lord at night to continue that ministry as you sleep.

Translation to heaven: As Paul and John ascended to the third heaven, so can we. As citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20), we have access to all of heaven. In the same way an American passport allows an American in right-standing to travel across America unrestricted, our heavenly citizenship allows Christians in right-standing to travel across the heavenlies unrestricted.

Translation to hell: Conversely, we can find our spirits descending into hell. While this may be frightening, it’s important to understand that if God is temporarily inviting us into hell, He’s going to protect us through it. Now, why would God allow His beloved elect to experience hell? Many saints, such as Bill Weise and his 23 minutes in hell, have been sent to Hell and back as the Lord has appointed them as messengers to admonish others of the severity and reality of hell as eternal and conscious torment (Matthew 25:31-46). The fruits of this are an increased fear of the Lord, a burden for souls, an increased understanding of enemy tactics, and a motivation to live for eternity.

Tip_0010_Layer Comp 13.jpg

TIP: Do not intentionally translate to hell or the second heavens. Await the invitation of the Lord, lest you bring back critters with you who will seek to destroy your life.

Translation to other realms: Modern science estimates there are two trillion galaxies—that’s a lot of realms! God is uncontainable (1 Kings 8:27), and His creation is more than the finite human mind can grasp. It is impossible to categorize all these realms, though it is important to note there are heavenly and hellish realms. That is to say, realms that do not fall within our typical understanding of these places. For instance, the Lord has been taking me to various realms of hell that are more preparatory in nature than they are torment. These places are not where unbelievers are sent, but something different.

A few weeks ago as I laid in bed, my spirit shot upwards out of my body and through the clouds. I observed great waters with many large, colorful sailboats carrying cargo. Here, I met an angel named Hope who opened my spiritual hearing. I returned to my bedroom, still awake in the spirit, and audibly heard a group of angels talking over one another in a language unknown to me.

My spirit then shot downward a great distance as I began hearing heavy, disturbing music play. I found myself in a realm of hell which possessed a Mars-like appearance – dry, barren, rocky lands painted with reds and browns.

The music shifted and became overbearingly intense, like the climax of an action film. As it pounded away, I saw a futuristic metal vehicle roving about. I was then taken to a place of brown rock, and as my vision zoomed out, the rock formed a statue that laid upon the lifeless ground. It was a woman whose hair appeared as snakes, which covered her naked breasts. My [guided] vision continued to zoom out and focused on her private area, and in my knower I sensed this was the Whore of Babylon (Revelation 17).

Tip_0000_Layer Comp 1.jpg

TIP: The knower is a spiritual sense which eclipses a gut-feeling or instinct. It is confident, divine revelation downloaded to your spirit. An example of this is seeing a family member in a dream who looks entirely different, but you know it’s them.

At times, I am caught up in the Spirit to the heavenly realms to shortly thereafter find myself thrust down into the realms of hell. Here, the Lord was showing me that those who abide in the Holy Spirit, represented by the waters per Isaiah 44:3, have positioned themselves to receive the resources and gifting of heaven that will be imperative to our dominion in the last days, as new evils are birthed and the multiplication of darkness unfolds, represented by the great Whore of Babylon statue.

Prophetic Encounters: Per Revelation 4, these are translations where we are caught up in the Spirit and observe things to come, or possible futures that we ought to intercede against. These can be symbolic or literal. The difference between a prophetic translation and a prophetic dream is that in a translation, you are caught up in the Spirit as John was.

In March of this year, the spirit of prophecy came upon me and I was taken into such an encounter where I symbolically observed that if Prince Charles takes the throne, we will see a tight and oppressive binding of the United Kingdom’s church. What was once home to some churches living by the Spirit would become a spiritual wasteland. The encounter began with me decreeing, “Prince Charles is not going to take the throne—even though he’s next in succession.” More on that here.

Reconnaissance: During reconnaissance translations, you may find yourself escorted by an angel or being, seen or unseen, to observe what the Lord wants to show you.

On May 6th, I had one such experience when I was translated to three layers of hell. In the third layer, I began hearing an unnerving, metallic, ticking melody. My eyes opened to numerous conveyor belts lining the ground, with my focus prefixed on various types of medicines being manufactured. As my field of vision zoomed out, I observed the addition of pre-packaged foods. Of the items I observed, there was only one of each. There was no produce, animal byproducts, or anything fresh.

It was revealed to me that in an attempt for wicked people to gain greater control, manufacturing and supply lines would be further hindered, radically changing the way some eat, limiting our access to essentials and long-term raising the death rate far beyond the claims of COVID-19. As a result, Big Pharma would greatly profit from increased demand for medicines and harmful vaccines.

TIP: As the prophet Daniel modeled, diligently developing wisdom to accurately interpret dreams, visions, and translations is vital to effectively stewarding and understanding what God is showing us, particularly if we share it. We will be held accountable for the council we give.

Training Grounds: While most training is on-the-job, these are places where Holy Spirit teaches us how to wield certain abilities in the Spirit. In one instance, I found myself in a junkyard of sorts where I was taught in my knower how to move the objects by faith, both individually and then all at once. I later used this ability on a translation mission.

Mission: Highly time-sensitive, communication and obedience to the Lord during missions is imperative. These differ from personal ministry as they are often grander and more high-stakes in scope. One of the mission-types God brings me on is the burning down of altars and high places in the Spirit.

In my first translation of this kind, the Lord guided me turn-by-turn in my knower through a number of residential streets until I found myself at a two-story church. As I moved through the walls and ceilings, I would enter into something I call the void realm. This is a place where I sometimes go to move to other realms – a gateway of sorts. As I moved back and forth through the void realm, I ascended the various floors of the church to discover there were not only two floors, but six or seven.

I observed an East-Asian Monk astral projecting – who I suspect was a Tantric Buddhist – and followed him up the stairs and entered the top floor, which was an occult temple. It was much larger in space than what would be possible in the natural—you see, natural laws don’t apply in the spirit, for the spiritual frames the natural.

Unaware of my presence, I navigated the temple and spotted an inner sanctuary to two demons, which appeared as blue and white fire. There resided a fountain to the demons and an ancient-looking door. I knew I must set fire to the place and do so immediately. Given my inexperience at the time, I pondered how to do this and in that delay, the translation ended and I was presented with an end-mission screen.

Tip_0010_Layer Comp 14.jpg

TIP: Communicate with the Holy Spirit during translations, especially missions. Ask Him where He wants you to go, what He wants you to do, and maintain constant engagement. Translations ought to be relational and focused, not self-seeking and self-gratifying.

Spiritual Principles (Accelerants)

It bears repeating: Regardless of gifting or anointing, consistent stewardship of these principles will move any faithful practitioner from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34) and your success is dependent on your stewardship (Matthew 25:14-30).

Let us heed the words of Paul and bring our flesh and soul under subjection to our spirit, fully yielded to Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 9:27 NKJV – But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

PRIORITIES

Matthew 6:33 NKJV – But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

There needs to be a shift in priorities to walk consistently in translation. At the time of this writing, we are in a season of grace where many distractions have been forcibly removed from us as a result of lockdowns. Scribe angels are recording how we respond and heavenly resources and gifting will be assigned accordingly.

COMMITMENT

2 Chronicles 16:9 ESV – For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.

In the past year, a common theme across my dreams is that God is doing a quick work in this preparatory season. If we commit our life to Him, our time to Him, and everything we are to Him, He will honour that and multiply it back to us. The Kingdom of Darkness is readying itself to unleash new and great evils—how much more the Kingdom of God.

AVAILABILITY

Matthew 9:37 NASB – The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

God wants to use you. He’s looking to see what you’ll offer on the altar of sacrifice – show Him He’s first and evidence that by how you spend each day.

HUNGER

1 Corinthians 14:1 ESV – Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.

One night my spirit shot upwards out of my body, rapidly ascending to the heavenlies. I overheard two angels having a discussion. One of the angels was waiting idly, unable to partner with the woman he was assigned to, as she was deceived into believing she ought not pursue the spiritual gifts. There are countless angels in heaven eagerly awaiting that we get this.

READ THE BIBLE

Romans 12:2 ESV – Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Mind renewal is imperative to remove a lifetime of worldly junk buildup which has clogged our spiritual senses. It washes us anew. Children are often easily able to see as they haven’t yet clogged their senses or developed unbelief. When parents sit them in front of televisions and tell them to stop speaking to their not-so-imaginary friends, it typically shuts off.

IDENTITY

Proverbs 23:7 NKJV – For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.

Approach supernatural works through your heavenly citizenship. When we begin to understand we’re seated in heavenly places, we operate from those heavenly places, bringing heaven down to earth and working in the heavenlies to affect earth.

FAITH

Matthew 17:20 ESV – For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.
Tip_0010_Layer Comp 20.jpg

TIP: Faith is imperative to moving in translation by intention. Practice your faith in the day-to-day by praying for the sick, casting out devils, and exercising words of knowledge. It is easier to move in faith when we are routinely seeing the fruits of it. Step out onto the water!

Contrary to the popular teaching, Mark 4 tells us a mustard seed is not small faith, it’s growing faith. Mark 4:31-32 ESV reads, “It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown on the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth, yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade.”

EXPECTATION

John 14:12 ESV – Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.

It doesn’t matter what you see – be expectant. God tests us on this. Praise Him during the dry times and thank Him for what’s to come and you will get the breakthrough. Dry times are often followed by an overpouring – remember this.

CHARACTER

John 14:14 ESV – If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

The Greek word used for name is onoma, which means the manifestation or revelation of someone’s character. To Hebrews, the name is inseparable from the person. The Seven Sons of Sceva used Jesus’ name without His character and were overcome by the demonic, while Peter possessed Christ-like character and even his shadow set people free. It’s not a special phrase that matters, it’s Christ-like character.

HOLINESS

Psalm 24:3-4 ESV – Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.

God says, “those who are not holy will not see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14) and “Be holy, because I am holy.” (Leviticus 11:44). There might be lawless ministers who can heal and prophesy while cheating on their spouse, but God is reserving the greater works for those who walk holy and blameless before Him. Repent!

INTIMACY

Psalm 37:4 ESV – Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Our God is a relational God who requires intimacy for salvation. For this reason Jesus says to many who walk in power, “I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.” (Matthew 7:23). Intimacy not only connects us with our beloved Bridegroom and develops a trust to walk in these works, it helps protect us from falling away (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3).

PRAISE

Psalm 100:4 NASB – Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise.

When I began translating regularly, there was a battle going on. My spirit would ascend, then descend, and up and down I’d go. I’d have demons showing up in my bedroom, snarling at me as they tried to pull me out.

Around this time, I began to see roses as I lucidly dreamed. There were roses of various sizes, colours, and materials, and they acted as portals. I would enter into them and be thrust into other realms via translation. God was showing me that the fragrance of adoration is a portal to His presence, and this revelation provided the breakthrough I needed.

Tip_0010_Layer Comp 19.jpg

TIP: Use praise as a portal. Psalm 22:3 says the Lord inhabits the praises of His people—let your life be a habitation of the Lord as you “continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” (Hebrews 13:5 NKJV).

PRAYER

Job 42:10 NKJV – And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

This is a trigger for many people, like Michael Van Vlymen and his wife Gordana, who are forerunners in supernatural transportation. Michael states that his wife, who is a devoted intercessor who prays nightly, is routinely whisked away by angels in translation as she intercedes. Jesus modeled a lifestyle of prayer for us and 1 Thessalonians 5:17 instructs us to pray without ceasing.

DECREE

Job 22:28 KJV – Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Declaring the word of God over your and your family’s life unlocks the floodgates of Heaven. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.” The power of the spoken word cannot be overstated—God framed the very world with His words (Hebrews 11:3) and His Spirit is now one with yours (1 Corinthians 6:17). His angels are listening for His spoken word (Psalm 103:20), God is watching over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12), and His word will not return void but will accomplish what He pleases (Isaiah 55:11). I’ve put together a powerful activation prayer to get you started.

TONGUES

1 Corinthians 14:4 ESV – The one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself

This is a strong trigger for me, and something that is unanimously agreed upon by all mighty men of God who walk in higher levels of power.

When internally praying in tongues at night, at times I’ll find myself awake into tongues as my spirit continues praying. I believe this is how the believer can fulfill Thessalonians 5:17’s instruction of praying without ceasing. As Kevin Zadai puts it, when you pray in tongues you’re reading out your heavenly book of destiny. If you don’t speak in tongues, we pray an impartation for it towards the end of this Zoom call.

Tip_0010_Layer Comp 21.jpg

TIP: Try praying in tongues as much as you possibly can, even if it’s silently within you. As you drive or commute, as you do chores, as you work, as you fall asleep and awake throughout the night, pray in tongues.

STILLNESS

Psalm 46:10 ESV – Be still, and know that I am God.

Most Western Christians don’t hear God’s voice because they rattle off a laundry list of requests and then walk away. The best way to hear God’s still, small voice? Be still.

Some will see and translate during stillness and others will not, but will rather have the fruits of stillness manifest during the night season or in other areas of their life. You will see increase, but how that increase manifests varies person-to-person.

For me, up until this point, it has primarily been in the night season – though the Lord has shown me He will teach me how to intentionally translate by will during stillness and the day-to-day. On the other hand, my wife tried stillness for the first time the other day and entered into three visions in 17 minutes.

I should warn that stillness should not replace prayer, worship, and other forms of intimacy, but should generously accompany it. Some believers pursue stillness alone as their goal is power and not intimacy—this should be avoided as it can open the door to witchcraft.

Tip_0010_Layer Comp 22.jpg

TIP: Find a private room, close the door, turn off the lights, get comfortable, and remain perfectly still for increasing durations. Try various methods to shut out wandering thoughts: meditation on Jesus, repeating a phrase of adoration, praying in tongues within yourself, etc. Play with it!

WAITING

Isaiah 40:31 NKJV – But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Wait in stillness, wait in prayer, wait in the Spirit. Good things come to those who actively wait! Waiting is not passive, it’s not lazy, it’s relational.

STEWARDSHIP

Matthew 25:23 NLT – The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities.

Journal, journal, journal. Leave a recorder by your bed or prayer-chair and immediately record what God shows and tells you. If you want to walk in translation, you will need to sacrifice some sleep. He’s worth it.

A primary principle of the Kingdom is multiplication. If you are faithful with the little, God will multiply what you have as you’ve proved yourself trustworthy and faithful.

CONSISTENCY

1 Corinthians 12:31 AMPC – But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and best gifts and graces

In the coming days, “Sunday” Christians will at best, sit on the sidelines and many will fall away. Press into these spiritual principles, subdue your flesh, journal and be regular about these things: particularly the Word, the Secret Place (Matthew 6:6), and tongues.

Blockages (Veils and Scales)

Veils and scales are positionings of our heart and soul which darken our spiritual senses and prevent us from moving clearly in the Spirit. These can be sins, worldly attachments, strongholds of ungodly belief, amiss motivations and attitudes which cloud, hinder, bind, and block us from our heavenly destinies. They keep the veil of the enemy over our spiritual eyes and build up scales that must be broken through to see clearly.

When the spiritual senses are dulled, it is difficult to move in translation and to do so with awareness. Once I worked through these, my spiritual eyes opened and there was a freedom in the Spirit unlike I’ve ever had before.

Ephesians 1:18-19 AMPC – By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,
Tip_0010_Layer-Comp-26.jpg

TIP: Cultivating your spiritual sight will expedite the awareness, clarity, and consistency of your translation experiences. Try this seer exercise to get started.

SIN

Isaiah 59:2 NKJV – But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.

Sin doesn’t prevent you from walking in the supernatural, it just deceives you into thinking you’re walking in God’s supernatural. Never judge someone’s right-standing with God by their gifting. Examine yourself before God regularly (2 Corinthians 13:5). Ungodly attitudes like bitterness, offense, and unforgiveness are also sins that will hinder your growth.

WEIGHTS

Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV – Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith...

This is a race, and while God is doing a quick work in this season, it’s your choice if you want to crawl or run. Strip off the hundred-pound weights hindering you from ascending.

TIP: Write down how you spend your average day. Now objectively examine yourself: Is God getting your time or are you? Consider what idolatry is and remove what's needed until He's first.

UNBELIEF

James 1:6-8 ESV – But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Doubt is the faith of hell. If you find a doubting thought enter your mind, immediately cast it down (2 Corinthians 10:5) and stand on the word of the Lord.

MOTIVES

Proverbs 16:2 NIV – All a person's ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the LORD.

Are you power hungry or do you want to glorify God, have compassion on the afflicted, and destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8)? Regularly ask God to guard your heart (Proverbs 24:3).

SECULAR MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT

1 John 2:15 ESV – Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Matthew 6:22-23 ESV – The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

Secular media pollutes your eye-gate, ear-gate, mind-gate, and so forth, filling it with noise and garbage that makes you unable to accurately hear God or walk in the things of God. One of the first things God corrected me on when I began dreaming regularly was that I needed to altogether stop watching TV. Prophet Neville Johnson agrees that TV obliterates your spiritual vision.

When you put aside worldly entertainment, you position yourself to begin walking in the incomparable joys of the heavenly realms. Helen H. Lemmel writes, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace!”

TIP: Each time you choose to engage secular media, consider the language, themes, and how God and His name is presented. If Jesus was physically beside you, would you engage this? Consider Galatians 2:20.

RELATIONSHIPS

Proverbs 27:17 AMPC – Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend [to show rage or worthy purpose].

Proverbs 13:20 NKJV – He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.

Who you have companionship with will have a direct affect on your walk. If you are in companionship with people who curse, revile the things of God, or are focused on the things of the world, it will greatly hinder your maturity and ascent.

I would strongly encourage you to read this blog post on what scripture says about Christians walking in companionship with unbelievers.

On the flip-side, find at least one other person who cries out for the deep things of God and you will sharpen and propel one another into greater glories.

OBJECTS IN YOUR HOME

Deuteronomy 7:26 ESV – And you shall not bring an abominable thing into your house and become devoted to destruction like it. You shall utterly detest and abhor it, for it is devoted to destruction.

My home used to be filled with thousands of pop culture items – particularly comics, collectibles, and board games. The Lord had me get rid of all of them. You are priests of your home. Ask yourself if you would decorate the house of the Lord with the things you possess. Certain items can be foul to the heavenlies, have demons attached, and even inflict curses upon you—many times, we simply don’t know the history of objects or where they’ve been. In the spirit, I’ve found a skull curse seal in my home which was likely the result of a past failure to guard my home.

TIP: Go through your home and ask Holy Spirit to highlight anything that needs to be removed.

LACK OF STEWARDSHIP

Matthew 13:12 NKJV – For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

You gotta journal! You gotta wake up in the night and record. If you won’t do it, God will find someone who will. Don’t be the guy who lost his assignment due to laziness – we will all give an account! (Hebrews 9:27).
